A Victorian banded agate locket with a brass surround is suspended from a hand knotted silk pearl necklace with a modern style, gold filled swivel clasp. The agate is smooth polished, with no chips or scratches on the exterior. The hinge closes securely. The interior of the locket is also in good condition, and although there are no frames for which to hold photos, one could still insert a photo by using some adhesive. The frame has a slight bend in it that can be seen in the photo, but the locket closes securely with no issue.
