What says spring more than new life? Eggs are symbolic of fertility, rebirth, and the cycle of life. 🪺 This piece features a vintage, sterling enamel egg. While we are not sure of its origin, it is either Chinese or Russian in nature. These pendants were styled in the fashion of Faberge eggs, and have beautiful details. This one has gorgeous cobalt blue and aqua, along with a bit of green. The most charming aspect of this pendant, though, is the adorable ladybug perched on top!Â
The pendant is suspended from a hand oxidized and polished sterling silver charm clasp. The necklace is composed of delicate, faceted blue topaz beads in a 3mm size. Each bead is hand strung on the cord, and then individually knotted. Twice the labor, and 100% worth the time for the results! The blue topaz strand can be worn without the pendant, and is a beautiful necklace on its own, or layered with other pieces.
