The “Forget-Me-Not” necklace. 💙🦋🍃Floriography, or the Victorian Language of Flowers, was developed as a way to secretly communicate during a time when proper etiquette discouraged overt displays of emotion. First emerging in 1819, this coded “language” was used widely throughout England and America during the 19th century. This necklace features AAA Mozambique aquamarine, kyanite and peridot, all hand selected and hand knotted on silk cord. The box clasp is in the shape of a flower, and is solid matte finish 14k gold. The clasp is set with a diamond on both sides.
