Beams of moonlight shimmer across the ocean and reflect streams of light along the coast. Among the dunes, there is a wild garden of coastal flowers, including large blooms of hydrangeas in shades of blue and white. The Coastal Gardens necklaces are a limited series of two and are a collaboration between my friend, @gisellekolbjewelry and me.
Giselle works with 18k gold, silver, and enamel, and crafts everything by hand in her home studio. Hours of labor go into creating the bezel settings, each tiny leaf, and each precious enamel flower. This series features rainbow moonstones as the focal, which is perfect for June babies since moonstone is one of their birthstones. Besides, who doesn’t love the ethereal beauty of rainbow moonstones?
Each of the hand knotted necklaces feature a variety of gemstone beads hand selected specifically for each pendant. The gemstones are individually strung and then hand knotted on silk cord. We designed these pieces with versatility in mind, so each pendant can be detached from the beaded chain and each can be worn separately or together as shown. The pendants have a hinged charm bail that can be attached to the necklaces charm clasp, or clipped to a chain and worn with the gemstone beads.
