A beautiful French antique slide locket, with a design done by the medalist, Emile Dropsy. Silver plated, with a shabby chic mirror inside, the front of the locket depicts a woman accepting water from an angel at a fountain. Beneath the scene are the words, “Fontaine de Jouvence”, which translates to “Fountain of Youth”. The hand fabricated chain is made with oxidized sterling silver, faceted rose quartz rondelles, and peach toned pearls with amazing luster.
~26” in length and the locket measures an additional 2 1/4”. ~This piece is long enough to slip over one's head, but there is a sterling silver clasp for decorative purposes.
